Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Living Legacy Tree Cost?
Living Legacy Trees cost starts from $7,000 including GST. There are no hidden fees or inflation costs. Price ranges can vary based on different factors such as the size and type of the tree, location, quantity of ashes infused into the tree, inclusions and more.
What happens if the tree dies?
Our Living Legacy Forest was carefully chosen for its excellent conditions and low risk for fire, flood and drought. If a tree does die, it is replaced by us at our cost. We use mulch where possible to pass on the energy from the tree.
I have pet ashes. Can my fur babies have a memorial in the forest?
YES, our families love that their pets ashes and memorial can be placed with their tree.
Are the trees protected?
Living Legacy Forest has a council permit, a conservation and heritage covenant, and a member review committee. Customers are also protected under Australian Consumer Law. In addition, 20% of the tree sales fund a trust, dedicated to ongoing tree care and maintenance. Luke talks about this in more depth in a video.
I have kept the ashes of a loved one in an urn, can I still create a Legacy Tree for them?
While cremation methods have changed over time, ashes do not have a “used by” date. The Living Legacy procedure has been proven to work with cremated ashes dating back to the 1960’s.
